About Studio Bert Forma
Studio Bert Forma was founded in 1965 by Bertrand Forma who identified a need in Los Angeles for an internationally flavored textile agency. Price alone was not the name of the game; consumer interest could be raised through beautiful and innovative fabrics, such as those tailored and worn in Paris, Milano, Geneva and Dusseldorf. Although Bert is no longer with the Studio, his established passions and traditions continue with the new generation.
Mills and other fabric suppliers go through life cycles and phases such as expansion, innovation, stasis and decline. We continually evaluate our suppliers while building a well-rounded array of fabrics and accessories aimed at the realities of the USA market. We prune with regret and add with pleasure.
At the Studio our customers find the latest European trends, interpreted at the right price level, from quality conscious and reliable mills. Our staff liaisons with each mill efficiently, avoiding misunderstandings and cultural blunders. In these times of globalization, we strive for Swiss punctuality, French style, Italian creativity and German determination.
